Hi, I’m Gareth. I’ve set up Lift Like A Rock Star to help you look and feel awesome.
In the 10,000+ hours I’ve spent at the gym, I’ve wasted around 8,000 of them.
I used to walk from machine to machine like a zombie, without ever stopping to think about what I was doing.
The funny thing is, outside of the gym I knew even less. I used to tell myself that I could eat what I wanted because I was going to the gym 4-5 times a week.
There was only one problem, I was fat.
When I look back, it’s clear I didn’t have a fucking clue what I was doing inside or outside of the gym.
And when I looked around the gym, I realised I wasn’t alone. The truth is, most people don’t really know what they’re doing when they workout.

I’m not some sort of huge bodybuilder or a sneaky marketer that is trying to push their latest miracle supplement on to you.
I’m a normal guy that loves pizza, going out for beers with friends and understands there is more to life than slaving away in the gym every night.
